  • ¾ cup (100 g) paneer
  • 2–3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh milk (as needed)

How to Make

1: Prepare Sugar Syrup

  1. Begin by heating sugar and water in a heavy-bottom pan over medium flame.
  2. Once the sugar melts completely, continue cooking until the syrup reaches half-string consistency.
  3. It should have a slightly sticky texture, but it should not become too thick, watery, or sugar crystals.
  4. Therefore, keep the flame medium and check the consistency carefully.

Important Tip: The sugar syrup should be warm when you add the fried Gulab Jamuns. It should not be cold or boiling hot.


2: Prepare Dough

  1. Start by placing soft khoya in a large bowl and kneading it until smooth.
  2. Next, combine mashed paneer, all-purpose flour, and baking powder with the khoya.
