Step 1: Prepare Batter
First, sieve gram flour in a bowl. Then add semolina, ginger-green chili paste, turmeric, sugar, salt, and lemon juice.
After that, gradually add water. Meanwhile, whisk continuously to avoid lumps. As a result, you will get a smooth batter.
However, ensure the batter is neither too thick nor too runny.
Step 2: Add Fruit Salt & Steam
Next, add fruit salt (Eno) just before steaming. Then mix gently.
