- 2 cups fresh green pea peels (matar ke chilke), peeled & raw
- 1–2 boiled potatoes, sliced
- 2–3 tbsp mustard oil
- ¼ tsp hing (asafoetida)
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp amchoor
- Salt to taste
🍳 How to Make Matar Ke Chilke & Aloo Ki Sukhi Satvik Subzi
Step 1 — Prepare the Peels
Peel fresh green peas and chop the raw chilke into small pieces.
Step 2 — Heat the Oil
Heat mustard oil until it smokes lightly. Reduce flame.
Step 3 — Add Hing + Masalas
Add hing, turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli and coriander powder.
Add a splash of water so spices don’t burn.
Step 4 — Add Raw Pea Peels
Mix well, cover and cook for 8–10 minutes until slightly soft yet crunchy.
