Boondi ka Raita

Boondi raita is one of the tastiest and delicious raita. Anyone can prepare in minutes and pair it with biryani, pulao, stuffed paratha, puri and many other recipes. Raita is a very important part of Indian meals. If you have simple dal rice, chapatis in the thali, a raita can make complete thali meal. Boondi is fried gram flour ball, it is made very easy like sweet boondi just add salt and other spices with gram flour, place of sugar syrup. They are salted and crisp.



  • 2 cups Yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups Boondi
  • 1/2tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4tsp Black peppercorn powder
  • 1/4tsp Black salt0r as per taste
  • 1/2tsp  Kashmiri lal mirch
  • 1tsp  Mint (Pudina)dry powder


Take a deep bowl, add yogurt and 1/4 cup of water, whisk with the hand whisker don’t use an electric whisker.

Add black pepper, Kashmiri lal mirch, black salt, roasted cumin powder and dry pudina powder and mix it well.

Add boondi and mix well,boondi raita is ready.

Serve cool or at room temperature.
