Some recipes don’t shout for attention — they quietly win your heart.
Muhammara is one of those soulful Middle Eastern dips that feels rustic, warm, and comforting from the very first bite. Originating from Aleppo, Syria, this deep red, smoky dip brings together roasted red peppers, walnuts, olive oil, and the magical tang of pomegranate molasses.
The first time I made Muhammara at home, I was surprised by how simple ingredients created such bold flavors. Making it in the air fryer not only saves time but also gives the peppers that perfect charred aroma without standing over the stove. This recipe is close to the traditional version — no tahini, no tomato paste, just honest ingredients and old-world flavor.
Perfect as a mezze dip, sandwich spread, or even with Indian rotis, this Muhammara deserves a place on your table.
