- 1/2 tsp sendha namak (rock salt)
- Ghee or peanut oil for shallow frying
Instructions
1. Roast the Makhana
- Roast fox nuts on low heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
- Let cool and grind into a coarse powder.
2. Prepare the Mixture
- In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, ground makhana, paneer, green chili, ginger, cumin, and rock salt.
- Add sama atta to bind the ingredients.
3. Shape the Tikkis
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into flat tikkis.
4. Fry the Tikkis
- Heat ghee or peanut oil in a non-stick pan.
- Fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
5. Serve
