Some desserts don’t just satisfy your sweet tooth—they heal you quietly.
This Sweet Potato Shahi Kheer was born on a slow afternoon in my kitchen, when leftover boiled sweet potatoes met the desire for something indulgent yet nourishing. In Indian households, kheer is more than a dessert—it’s comfort, celebration, and love served in a bowl.
Sweet potato, often seen as humble, transforms beautifully when simmered in saffron-infused milk, cardamom, and crunchy dry fruits. This shahi version offers royal richness while remaining gentle on digestion—perfect for women’s health, festive vrat days, or mindful indulgence.
If you believe desserts can be soulful, this creamy bowl will speak to you ✨
