Squash known as dilute in British English is a non-alcoholic concentrated syrup used in beverage making. It is usually fruit- flavored made from fruit juice and sugar. lemon is packed with flavor. In my childhood time, my mother used to make lemon squash before summer starts.I pleased to write this recipe of fresh lemon squash like a memory from my childhood . It contained No artificial color, sweeteners or preservative either but plenty of natural vitamin C which provide a burst of energy in hot summer day.
- 4Cups lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lemon zest
- 8 cups sugar
- 2 clean glass bottle
First, take lemon wash properly, dry them fully after and cut in half and take out the juice with the help of hand lemon juicer.
Strain lemon juice with the help of a strainer.
Take a bottle add 2 cups sugar and 1cup lemon juice, shake it for 20- 30 minutes and let it stay for 2 days for it to be completely mixed .
Lemon squash is ready, it can be stored in the refrigerator for 5-6 months.
