Coconut burfi is a very delicious and easy to make a dessert recipe. It is a burfi which is prepared with freshly grated coconut, milk, sugar and dry fruits. It is without mawa (khoa). As Diwali is coming so it is time to make some sweets one of it is following.
- 2 cups fresh grated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk(full fat)
- 2 tbs ghee
- 1/4tsp cardamom powder
- 3-4 tbs mixed dry fruit(finely chopped)
First, take a coconut remove the brown skin and grate white part of the coconut.
Take a heavy bottom pan add grated coconut and roast it for 2-3 minute after that add milk, sugar and cook it until you get the slightly lumpy mixture.
Switch off the flame add ghee and cardamom powder.
Grease the tray and transfer coconut mixture and press it slightly, sprinkle finely chopped dry fruits.
Let the mixture cool down then cut into small pieces.
Coconut burfi is ready.
